The inspiration

Neith, known as 'God's Mother who Bore Re Before Anything Existed', is a veiled Egyptian goddess who emerged from the primordial waters to create the world. She then travelled northward along the Nile and founded the city of Sais.

She is the patron of war and hunting and is often depicted with arrows, bows, and shields. Similar to Medusa, no mortal could gaze upon her face. It was believed that lifting her veil meant certain death, as no person has ever been able to comprehend the true nature of her divinity.
